Herb Stuffed Mushrooms

 

Ingredients

8 Large Flat Mushrooms
2 slices White Bread
2 tablespoons fresh thyme
2 tablespoons fresh oregano
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
2 cloves garlic
8 oz. grated cheddar cheese
Salt & freshly ground pepper
Butter Oil

Preparation

Wipe the mushrooms clean with a slightly damp paper towel & cut off the stalks. To make the herb breadcrumb mixture, put the trimmed mushroom stalks in a food processor with the bread, herbs & garlic. Pulse until the mixture is properly combined. Mix the breadcrumbs & the cheese. Season to taste.

Put a little butter in each mushroom, brush the outside of the mushrooms with oil and grill for 3-4 minutes.

Remove the mushrooms from the grill. Pack each mushroom with the herb & cheese mixture. Place the mushrooms on the grill & cook for 3-4 minutes until done.
