Brands
A short list, and the reason each name is on it.
We are not a dealer for everything, on purpose. A short list means we know these systems properly, hold parts for them, and can still get someone on the phone at the manufacturer when something odd happens.
Control and automation
The layer everything else answers to. Get this wrong and the house needs a manual.
- Savant
One app for lighting, music, climate and shades, and it keeps running on local processing when the internet does not. The platform we put in most houses, and the one we hold Savant's top dealer tier on: Platinum Elite.
Lighting and shading
The two systems people notice every day without ever thinking about them.
- Lutron
The dimming is the reason. Cheap dimmers buzz, flicker at the bottom of the range and kill bulbs early. Lutron's does not, and the shade motors are quiet enough to sleep through.
Audio
Three different jobs, which is why there are three names here rather than one.
- Sonos
For houses where people want to press play without being taught. Everyone already knows how it works, including guests and teenagers. Where it belongs in a house, and where it stops, is on its own page.
- Sonance
Architectural speakers that finish flush with the ceiling or disappear into the wall entirely. Chosen when the room should not look like it has speakers in it.
- Coastal Source
Outdoor audio and landscape lighting on a sealed connector system. Buried wire nuts are what kills outdoor installations; this is the answer to that.
Video and cinema
Screens, projection, and the room around them.
- Sony
Projectors and displays. In a properly dark room their projection is still the reference, and the televisions hold their colour honestly.
- CinemaTech
Theater seating and acoustic treatment. Their seating is on display in our Armonk showroom, which is the fastest way to know what you are choosing.
- Séura
Televisions that live inside a mirror, or outside in the weather. Specialist answers to two problems ordinary displays handle badly.
Networking
The system every other system leans on.
- Ubiquiti
UniFi routing, switching and access points. Enterprise-grade, scales from a village house to an estate with outbuildings, and managed from our office in Armonk rather than from your driveway. What we build most networks on.
- Araknis
Built to be managed remotely, which is how a problem gets fixed from here instead of from your driveway. Most of the reason our monitoring plans work.
Hi-fi
For the room where you sit down and listen. Three makers, deliberately a step below the exotic end, because at this level the room and the placement matter more than the last ten percent of the speaker.
- KEF
The tweeter sits inside the mid-range driver, so the sound comes from one point. Images beautifully and forgives a room that is not perfect.
- Sonus faber
Italian, real wood, and warm without being soft. The pair most people choose once they have heard them beside something more clinical.
- Bowers & Wilkins
Studio lineage, so detail and control first. For someone who wants to hear exactly what is on the recording.
Climate and air
The part of the house you notice least when it is right.
- Daikin
The monitor reads particulates, VOCs, humidity and pressure, learns the house over a week, and drives the filtration and ventilation you already have rather than one purifier in one corner. It surfaces in Savant beside the lighting and the shades.
Finish
The difference between installed and built in.
- Trufig
Keypads, outlets and speakers set perfectly flush with the plaster, with no visible trim. Specified when the wall is meant to read as a wall.
Why the list is short
A dealer for everything is a specialist in nothing.
Every manufacturer here is one we are trained on, stock parts for, and have a working relationship with. That is what turns an awkward fault into a phone call rather than a three-week wait. If something you already own is not on this list we can usually still look after it. That is what the support page is for.
Start a project
Tell us about the space. We'll come out and give you a straightforward plan.
The consultation is complimentary and it starts with a walkthrough or a set of drawings. You will leave it knowing what is realistic in your house, what it costs, and what can wait until phase two.
