One town over the state line, and a short drive from the showroom.
Greenwich is one town over from the state line and a short drive from the showroom. We have been working here almost as long as we have been in business.

The state line matters less than the drive, and Greenwich is a short one from Armonk. That is the practical reason we have worked here for decades: close enough that a service call is a normal part of the week rather than an expedition.
Greenwich covers a lot of ground and the houses vary enormously, waterfront in Old Greenwich and Riverside, older and tighter in Cos Cob, larger and more spread out as you go north. What that means for us is that there is no standard answer here. A shorefront house needs outdoor equipment specified for salt air and a network that reaches a dock or a pool house. A backcountry property needs coverage across acreage. A village house needs work done carefully in a small footprint.
The first thing worth getting right, wherever you are in town, is the network. Everything else, music through the house, shades, a media room, sits on top of it, and a system built on a network that cannot carry it will disappoint you in ways that look like equipment faults but are not.
We are in Connecticut every week rather than crossing the line now and then, and we treat Greenwich as home territory: same crew, same response times, same service plans.
What clients here tend to say afterwards is not about the equipment. It is that somebody sat down and went through the options with them properly, and that the finished thing is simple enough for everyone in the house to use. That is the job.

An easier first step
Come and sit in the seating before you decide anything.
The showroom is at 5 N Greenwich Rd in Armonk, with CinemaTech seating on the floor. Ten minutes in the chairs, handling the finishes, settles more than a swatch card will, and it costs nothing.
From Greenwich
“Wonderful company to work with – knowledgeable, professional staff. Bob spent a great deal of time going through all of the available choices for my husband & myself. The whole system is controlled with a remote that even I can use with ease.”
Common questions
Questions we get from Greenwich homeowners.
- Do you actually work in Connecticut, or just say so?
- We work here regularly and have for decades. Greenwich is a short drive from the Armonk showroom, which is closer than a good many Westchester towns, and Fairfield County is half of our stated territory rather than an add-on.
- Do you cover Old Greenwich, Riverside and Cos Cob?
- Yes, all of them, on the same terms as central Greenwich, along with the backcountry. Darien, New Canaan and Stamford as well.
- What is different about a waterfront house?
- Exposure, mostly. Salt air is hard on outdoor speakers, mounts and connections, so equipment has to be specified for it rather than chosen from a catalogue. Coverage is the other one: a dock, a pool house or a detached garage needs the network deliberately extended to it, not hoped at.
- Can everything be run from one app?
- Usually, and it is generally the right goal, one way to control the house that everyone living in it can actually use, rather than four remotes and three apps. We will also tell you where a keypad on the wall beats an app, which is more often than the industry likes to admit.

The consultation is complimentary and it starts with a walkthrough or a set of drawings. You will leave it knowing what is realistic in your house, what it costs, and what can wait until phase two.
