New Rochelle is the largest city in our territory and the most varied: waterfront houses in Premium Point and on Davenport Neck, Wykagyl and Beechmont's 1920s houses in the north, and everything between.

Waterfront houses here are built for the view, with glass that needs shades on a schedule and outdoor spaces that get used from April to October. We specify brass and marine-grade for anything outdoors, because salt is unforgiving.
The northern neighbourhoods are solid 1920s and 30s colonials, Tudors and the occasional modern, and the work is retrofit without damage: lighting control at the existing switches, music in the rooms that get used, and Wi-Fi that reaches through plaster to every floor.
A media room is the most common single project. Usually a lower level that has to be finished first, and we are happy to come in alongside the contractor rather than afterwards.
New Rochelle is about half an hour from the showroom in Armonk. We are honest about that. On a service plan most faults are fixed from the office; when a visit is needed, it is our own people who come.

- Yes. Motorized shades on a sun schedule, fabrics chosen with your designer so the view stays, and outdoor equipment specified for salt air. We have worked along this shore since the company started in Rye.
- Do you do smaller projects?
- Most of our New Rochelle work started small: music in the kitchen, lighting in two rooms, Wi-Fi that works upstairs. One room done properly is a real project to us.
- We work from home. What should we fix first?
- The network. Wired where things stay still, access points placed to measurements, and a switch we can manage from our office. Everything else in the house depends on it.
