Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, from the river to the hills.

Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow have the river villages' Victorians, newer houses on the hills, and a good deal of new construction along the water. Twenty-five minutes from the showroom, straight across on 117.

The new waterfront construction is the straightforward end: open walls, modern framing, and the chance to wire the house properly once. We work with the builder to put the network, speakers and shade pockets on the drawings rather than retrofitting them in year two.

The village houses are the opposite: tall, old, plaster, and full of character nobody wants disturbed. Lighting control goes in at the switches. Speakers paint out. Cable travels through closets and the back stairs. We have done enough of these to know the routes.

Up the hill, the houses are larger and the asks are the full set: a media room, music inside and out, and a power plan for the storms that come off the river.

Tarrytown is about twenty-five minutes from Armonk, which is close enough for a service visit this week and for you to come and see the showroom first.

An easier first step

Come and sit in the seating before you decide anything.

The showroom is at 5 N Greenwich Rd in Armonk, with CinemaTech seating on the floor. Ten minutes in the chairs, handling the finishes, settles more than a swatch card will, and it costs nothing.

Common questions

Questions we get from Tarrytown homeowners.

We are building on the waterfront. When should you be involved?
Before the electrical plan is final. Shade pockets, speaker locations, the equipment room and the conduit for outdoor spaces all have to be on the drawings. We work with your architect and builder from the start.
Can you work in an old village house without damage?
Yes. That is most of the skill. Wire through closets and the attic, speakers that paint out, keypads where the switches were. Where something must show, we show you the choices first.
How far is Armonk?
About twenty-five minutes on Route 117. Close enough for a visit this week, and worth the drive to sit in the showroom before deciding.
